(Sport Health Education Deafness)

SUPPORTING AUSTRALIA'S DEAF COMMUNITY

Established in 2012 as a registered charity to provide relevant aids, equipment and support to deaf children and adults in Australia who need them, but can't afford them, for example:

SPORT. Provide financial support and encouragement for deaf people to participate in sport to their highest ability and represent their country in their chosen sport. Financial support to athletes who are currently representing Australia or who have the opportunity of reaching international competition (incl. without limitation in football).

HEALTH. Provide financial assistance for the purchase of equipment and other aids and services not currently covered by health benefits.

EDUCATION. The foundation's aim is to provide education for the community, including the corporate sector regarding the integration of deaf people into the workforce and participation in other community activities (incl. without limitation, sporting activities.)

DEAFNESS. Provide financial assistance in obtaining items such as fire alarms (strobe lights for homes) Baby monitoring alarms (vibrating/ flashing light) phone and fax flashing lights, vibrating clock alarms, and front door bell (flashing light) and assisting the deaf where ever possible.
